Entry Requirements
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and mentally and physically healthy.
2. Applicants for doctoral programs must have master's degree (equivalent to master's degree in China).
* Those who plan to obtain their degrees should submit a Pre-graduation Certificate to ensure that they will complete their study and obtain the degree by July of 2023.
3. Applicants for doctoral programs should be under the age of 45 (by September, 1st, 2023).
4. Applicants for programs instructed in English need to provide proof of English language proficiency.
5. Applicants should meet the admission criteria for international students of USTC.

If you want to book our translation service, please pay and book it at least 2 weeks before the application deadline for submission of all documents;
If you want to book our guardian service, you need to pay and book it 2 months before the application deadline, just in case your application fails because of failed to submit application documents on time.*1. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
*2. Scanned copy of passport (ordinary passport with validity of at least one year)
*3. Applicants for programs must provide the photocopy of valid IELTS or TOEFL result or other proof of their English proficiency (except those whose mother tongue is English).
*4. Photocopy of degree certificate for both Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree notarized by Ministry of Education or equivalent authority in your country
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
If applicants are university students, they must provide official documents showing their university student status and the exact time they will obtain their degree certificate;
If applicants already graduated but have not yet obtained the degree certificate, they must provide official documents explaining the reasons and stating clearly when they will obtain the degree certificate.*5. Photocopy of academic transcript for both Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree notarized by Ministry of Education or equivalent authority in your country
Academic transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - Video
